A Little About Us

Hi, we’re Brian and Lacey Skelton, the owners of Bulverde Lodge.

Bulverde has been home to our family for more than nine years, and we’ve fallen in love with everything that makes this little corner of the Texas Hill Country special — the people, the small-town charm, the live music and the sense of community that makes it feel like home.

When the opportunity came along to take over this historic property in the heart of Old Town Bulverde, we knew it was something special. We saw the chance to create the kind of place we love finding when we travel: comfortable, thoughtfully designed, full of character and connected to the community around it.

Today, Bulverde Lodge is truly a family-run business. We’re hands-on with just about everything — from renovating and designing the spaces to welcoming guests, planning events and dreaming up what comes next.

Whether you’re here for a wedding weekend, a Hill Country getaway, a family gathering or simply a quiet night away, our hope is that the lodge feels less like a hotel and more like your own little place in Bulverde.
